Have Instagram, Flickr and Facebook killed the photo print?

The smartphone is quickly becoming the dominant camera in photography. With the iPhone 4 and 4S now listed as the two most popular cameras to upload images to Flickr, just beating the Canon Eos 5D mk2 into second place.

Flickr now hosts 6 billion photos (as at the end of 2011). Instagram has passed the 50-million-user mark, according to Cnet with more than 1 billion photos uploaded and 5 million being added daily.
